Old habits are hard to break. Making permanent changes to your diet does not need to be a daunting task. Be realistic with your expectations and make changes a few at a time rather than trying to do it all at once.

Practice one to two of the following healthy nutrition tips each week. You'll be surprised how easy it is for these to become permanent changes, and in a few months daily healthy eating will become a habit.

Lessons from my Dad and Celebrating His Andrea Scott, co-owner

Father's Day has a special meaning for me this year. I won't be celebrating the love I have for my Dad with him though. For the first time, I will celebrate the legacy of my Dad. He passed away in January from a Stage 4 GBM brain tumour. To date, this experience has been the most difficult thing I have ever been through. But there have been positives and learning opportunities.

“Just Lisa!”

Tell us your job title or something about yourself that's work-related. Whatever way you identify how you spend most of your time!!

“I'm a divorce lawyer and family mediator. I also teach collaborative process and mediation skills to other professionals.”

Why do you love your membership?

“I love my membership because it gives me the freedom to get facials when I (and my skin) want them. If I had to pay individually for facials, I probably would avoid going, as it would feel too extravagant. Then my skin (and mental health) would suffer. A couple of years ago I told someone about my membership and how lovely it felt to treat myself and her response was 'that's not a treat - that's just normal personal grooming!'”
