Hopeful Hand 'mad men' gala

Giving facials and providing the oh-so-beautiful people of Vancouver, Calgary, Boston and elsewhere with high-end skincare products is what skoah prides itself on. With the support of the kommunity, skoah has been able to achieve a level of success that allowed owner of skoah, Andrea Scott, to start The Hopeful Hand foundation.

The Hopeful Hand is an organization that supports the parents of ill and terminally ill children through the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and Alberta Children’s Hospital. The Hopeful Hand has allowed skoah to contribute to a massive amount of progress. Last year skoah was able to raise funds by donating facials and also by donating 100% of the “Hopeful Hand” hand love lotion profits.

On May 26th, from 7-10pm skoah will continue providing support for The Hopeful Hand by throwing a Mad Men themed cocktail party. So get out your red lipstick, throw on some silk stockings, and set your curls! The party will be located at the Skoah Yaletown location. Skoah will transform six of its treatment rooms and allow them to be taken over by six top restaurants for tasting and mingling. Vincor wines, signature cocktails, and Don Draper look alike’s will also be included. Additional funds for Hopeful Hand will also be raised through a silent auction and balloon raffle.

Only 125 tickets will be available for $125 each and will be on sale as of April 1st. Tickets will be eligible for a tax receipt. If you are unable to attend the event, don’t worry! By purchasing skoah’s “hand love” lotion, you will automatically donate all of your purchase proceeds to The Helpful Hand organization.

Feel good knowing that your support of the event or the purchase of the “hand love” lotion will make a difference in the lives of families in need. Besides, Don Draper isn’t so bad either...
